    Arrow Hilux Diff Conversion

    Hey guys,
My mates 4agte ae86 has a t18 diff in it and the diff doesn't really like all the power . i just grabbed him an rn27 diff from pick a part here (for 160) and we were wondering a good place in melbourne to weld on mounts to suit his sprinter and also a rough price that should be expected.

Also wondering what tailshaft to use aswell. just get a custom make 1 piece done or? also cost of tailshaft would be sweet too.

    Cheers,
    Calvin

with the shaft just make sure you use good uni joints and a new bearing if the other one is iffy. Shaft should be roughly $300 or just above. But that depends on if you use unis or not and also a bearing.

make sure that after the housing is welded you also get it straightened.

cut and weld mounts is normally around $450odd depending on how nicely the job is done.

    cheers

I concur with the above opinions.

You also may be able to save some money by chopping the mounts off your diff yourself and cleaning them up ready to be welded onto the Hilux housing. I found this took farquin ages though wasn't dificult.

I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.
Drift Volvo. Was fun. 2JZ next time.

Try a suspension shop. Not a Pedders etc, but an ACTUAL suspension shop.
