Japparts New 3rz Engines

Spoke to japparts today.They have informed me the sell 3rz-fe engines complete for 3.5k
Has anyione here brought one and can give feedback??

They are brand new and are copied.

well if the 3rz is anything reliable like early hiluxs they wont sell too many untill they start hitting 400,000ks

for that price i think i would prefer a genuine low k 2nd hand one,

you can now get NEW copy W5X gear boxes also,

was hoping someone here had some experience direct or in-direct.

Would like a low k second hand one.

my pop's hilux is on about 600,000 kays trusty ol 3rz clutch was done at 400,000 timing belt was recently changed also

better go get your money back, and ask what they did with the chain setup

no one here would use one, as we would all much prefer the genuine Toyota item.
No point going for a potentially unreliable copy when you can have the real deal and know 100% that you have a good motor.

hi guys just to answer the question yep have used 2 one into a rzn149 hilux the other was fitted into hiace rzh113 to replace 2rz no problem with either hi ace is a courier van the lux was a builders ute the last time i looked the hilux had just done 79000 klm sine the motor change no prob

so whats the story with these exactly? the chinese bought a few of these engines and are now illegally coping them?
