    Hi,

Don't you have to pay a fee to get money out of PayPal and into your account?

There are numerous paypal fees depending on what currencies exchange hands, whether its a premium account or normal, credit card payment or bank account payment, etc.

But all you do is put $5 on top of the membership to cover these fees.

While I agree whole-heartedly with all the pro-PayPal/Netbank suggestions, can everyone stop re-hashing the same statement over and over again, because none of it addresses the stated problem: a required change of the constitution wording.

you could pay a homeless person (or poor person on toymods) to get the money order for you

or... one of your patients they will probably be off work for a while anyway

I agree that it'd be easier for most of us to send money by online methods of payments but its a massive step and takes a lot of work to to get to that point.

A signature is rarely checked on a credit card through the checkouts of most shops these days. Also pay pal verifies the bank accounts and credit cards by crediting your account or credit card to verify it is in fact your card and it is a fairly safe and convenient way of paying. It also creates a paper trail once the funds are sent to the club account from another pay pal.

On another note, the board should then look at maybe changing the constitution as the asic website states that for not for profit organizations, such as this club, that you need to keep proper documentation of financial records and not much in regards to signatures.

If it were a bank or other financial institutions that hold money for a customer I would understand the need for signature verification as they deal with a lot of money and you wouldn't want that money taken out by just anyone.

    Thats my 2c.

Sorry if I've rambled on a little and i hope it all makes sense to everyone.
