i second that. i too am too lazy to send a cheque
BRING ON THE BPAY!!
(or direct deposit)
I am sure someone has asked this before and I only raise it as I am a lazy prick and have printed the form out 3 times already with no sucess of sending a cheque.
Can you organise for an online method of payment for membership.
I am sure this would double membership.
Another idea would be for all paying members to be identified in their Signutures as this would show the real supportors of this site and would create a feeling of ownership. (ahhh the Business Analyst coming out in me...)

i asked for direct debit years ago but got something to do with no papertrail and signature

How so?
You still fill in the forms, sign it, pay over BPay, include the transfer number, or a print out and then send it all in.
Should be enough paper there to say who paid and whatnot.
I'd definetly sign up if this were offered, I'm sure others would to.
if you kiddies had actually searched for the reason (and found it) you would see that toymods needs a paper trail to make the accountability process much easier.Originally Posted by syco-1g
toymods is not just an online thing, like buying stuff off ebay, it needs to have proper accounts and books, and everything needs to be trackable and traceable.
the bit of paper you send and your paper cheque make it much easier than say... trying to work out which people sent $50 out of 10 on a certain day....
getting a money order made at post office takes MINUTES of your precious time..... and makes like for toymods VOLUNTEERS much easier
thanks for your effort and taking the time to go and get a money order![]()

A Paypal account also takes minutes to setup and everything is trackable at the click of a button.Originally Posted by oldcorollas
Not allowing direct debit I can understand (no easy trail), but Paypal keeps all those records.
Unless there is another reason then its a no brainer to me.

Paypal also Costs money so the membership fee would have to be increased for those paying this way.
The club also needs the membership form with the origonal signature, We discussed this at the Board meeting and things are being looked into further for some options.

A money order also costs money, as does the time and fuel required to get to the post office in the first place, not to mention the envelope and stamp. You'll find these combined are greater than the fees Paypal charges.
The signature thing is difficult, but no reason we couldn't scan and email the form off, or even fax it.

"Original signature" is like "original birth cerificate". Reproductions don't suffice.
