RA28 18RG with a 22R electronic ignition

Hey guys, we have been doing up my celica finally

Parents decided to buy it off me, and the first thing my dad has done is go to the wreckers and get a bucnh of stuff to wire it up.

I'm just wondering, is it possible to use a 22R electronic ignition in an 18RG, and could anyone provide me with a diagram or instructions on how to wire it all up.

we really have no clue with this so any help would be greatly appreciated

I dont think it will fit but if u use some thinking , the guts of the 22R dizzy may go into the 18r dizzy , if not try 4 or 5k electronic dizzy guts , 18R dizzys are about the same size as th the K dizzys.

That is what we did, it works a treat, we have plenty of spark to all plugs now.

But it's only firing on pistions 3&4, anyone got any ideas about that?
