The Mammoth 18R Diagram Thread - Updated with engine specs

Hi,

Okay, after much toil I have been able to get 108 wonderful exploded diagrams of the 18R, 18R-E, 18R-U, 18R-G, 18R-GR and 18R-GU engines.

I haven't labelled the diagrams as they're rather self explanatory. However, I will give each diagram a "figure number" so if you have any questions you can refer to the figure number.

Where possible I have included the engine type and the date/period of manufacture. This is very useful if you need parts and can recognise the build-date/period of your particular engine.

I think I have some 18R-C stuff around and I'll try and get that done later on. I also have similar diagrams for the 2T engine series, but will not put these up ('cos I have already done a basic 2T diagram thread) unless people require more detailed 2T diagrams.

Also I'm searching for some 18R-GUE diagrams to complete this thread.

Is this the same thread as the one in the FAQ if so why are there 2 copies?

Hi,

Yes, it is the same thread. I asked Witzl to move it to the FAQ, but he also left a copy here. Which is good 'cos my hostong service diead and I'm currently reloacting all the images to Imageshack. Once the thread is in the FAQ I can't edit it, so it's good it was left here.

The thread in the FAQ will have the broken links to the images, so this thread is the proper one to use at the moment. Once it's all sorted it will get copied to the FAQ again and this one will be deleted.

Bummer... I got all the 2TG images to do also!!!! I'm gonna be a busy lad whiole I sort this stuff out.
