Looks like the temp on Friday is gonna be nice and cool which should be good for us turbo guys.

I've also fitted an airbox so i no-longer have the unboxed pod filter sucking in hot engine bay air. Just need to find myself some tyres. I really don't want to fork out for new ones.

Oh, and i got the car engineered last wednesday too!

Scruitineering is a piece of piss... you just need to do a funky little dance or something distracting when you see the scruitineer spot something dodgy on the rolla. Kinda like when Kearney on the Simpsons distracted Marge so the other bullies could roll Bart for his lunch money.

Perhaps you haven't seen with quite enough detail just how much of his car is hung together with cable ties. :-)

I'm looking out the window at fairly decent rain... The bureau of meteorology says it should clear up by the arvo but i'm always hesitant to believe the forcast these days. Hopefully they're right this time.

Looking at the radar, there's still some moderate rain showing up near CP, so keep it in the back of your mind that it may be cancelled...

At this stage it's still a goer though...

Do you have a fancy radar at work Simon? What radar are you looking at? I can't determine shit from the BOM site. It's too low resolution.

BOM Radar... You can see the Yellow and Blues come up occasionally... (You are looking at the 64km loop aren't you? - http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR024.loop.shtml - Frame 2 shows light to moderate rain, pretty well directly on top of CP...)

Just got the SMS from Calder Park... It's on at this stage!

Yeah i've been looking at the 64km loop... i guess the real way to find out the weather conditions is to drive out there.

Just wondering though... what happens if it starts raining 5min after i pay them the exorbitant $65 entry fee? Do i get my money back? I'll bet the cnuts don't do refunds or anything like that.
