Go to EMS's website and download the software for the EMS 4424. In there, there is a base map listed for the 4AGZE. Then recalculate for the 440cc injectors. It's a bit simplistic, but should at least get you going![]()
Hi , basically what im endeavouring to find is help or a lead to some source or calculator that will assist me in getting into some grey area with setting my injector pulse settings so that i can begin comissioning my ecu. at the moment im just basically 'playing around' with it.
setup as follows:
4age 16v bigport
440cc injectors
4ag multi coil ignition (smallport GZE)
SC14 supercharger
55mm throttle body
HKS intake cam 256x8.35
HKS exhaust cam 264x8.1
adaptronic tuneable ECU.
the engine fires and runs albeit intermittently, i can smell fuel when it doesnt ignite so im pretty positive that there is too much fuel. i _could_ just play around with it for a year or two fishing in the dark but it would be very nice to have a starting point closer to what i need so that i can at least have the engine run on demand. the reason im doing it this way is due to the adaptronic being a bit of an unknown with tuning departments so i would like to be able to get it to a driveable state before getting it on the dyno instead of forking out for time while the car has problems even driving..
all help appreciated.

thats probably crazy enough to work , i love you ! +rep
will post an update
go download "megatune" for megasquirt.
you put in size of injectors, how often they fire, and engine size and it tells you the pulsewidth for 100% VE.. and then you just decrease from that pulsewidth based on what you think VE will be...
