what parts off ta23 fit ta22, help!

hey guys

i need help as im getting a parts car (ta23) soon & need to know what i can exchange into my ta22.
I have used the search button & looked for "ta23" but nothing

Can anyone please send me some info or links to forums (if i have missed them).

Also does anyone know a really good spray painter around sydney area, that they can recommend.

Does anyone know where i can get a 2T-G MANUAL; i just bought 2 from usa & they dont have the 2t-g but are general repair manuals for toyotas 1970-1979 (so im going to sell them soon)

Cob 604s cars panels are mostly covered by fibreglass. so I am guessing he is talking about mechanical and interior stuff.

fastfoo- thx mate what about the springs & struts, brake booster & brake lines. Also if my sway bar rubbers etc (most rubbers) are worn could i use the owns out of the ta23. i know at my work (toyota) they say that you shouldn't but i can find any rubbers on the net toyota dont make most of the parts.

wa5- yeah im sort of talking about the mechanical side of it & a few bits & pieces here & there.
very true mate actually it looks like toyota have removed all the panels & custom made fiberglass ferrari ones. Makes it very hard & expensive trying to find replacements as they arnt toyota or ferrari

Springs and struts: Rear are the same (maybe slightly different rate)
Front are not the same they are biger and 30mm longer, but are much better for brake upgrades. so you may want to use them.

Brake booster and lines: Slightly different but you could use.

Sway bay bushes (and most rubers): Your work (Toyota) is right its best to get new ones. You should be able to get them from Repco and the like, they should be able to match something, there not that special.

Things that dont fit: All the front clip (bolt on panels)
Skirts, rails and rad suport
X-member (but you may be able sell it they are a bit rare)

Those tail lights dont look like 240k to me .... do they have any writing on the lenses? . they look like an after market Hella unit.

You do know that the car was not modified by Toyota. I have seen some of these in books, but not for a long time.

fastfoo- the parts car (ta23) has been lowered, & my ferrino has a squeek in the rear so i quess that is solved, so what you are saying about the front is the whole spring & shock assembly is longer (e.g the front will be up higher). & then i guess the front springs i cant take off & put on the ta22 right?.
Also so i could take the whole front spring, strut, shock & brake assembly & stick it on the ta22. What would that do to the brakes?

wa5- atm im trying to find any car that looks that same (can all ways modify) as ive been searching so long & found nothing. No writing on the lenses. Ill put more pictures up tommorrow.
Do you know was modified by then, i havnt seen 1 on person but 1 was for sale on ebay for $8000 i rang the guy & his dad restored it & he just told his son to sell it (hence the low price the son had no idea of the love & time his dad must have put in to it, BUT HE DID SAY "IT'S RARE AS HENS TEETH" as i thought as well.

Not sure who did them, I just saw them in a car magazine years ago.
I see you also have an AMC Rebel. Try Hemi6pack or Moparmarket as AMC cars are welcome in the Chrysler community. (AMC was bought by Chrysler around 1978 (?) ).

Not real sure on the AMC, Your best bet would be Moparmarket. or Hemi6pack

my plan is to get the ferrino regod & drive that for my p's while doing up the rebel
but the ferrino is taking a bit to long due to the trouble trying to find parts.

so basically everything from the windscreen back (including the windscreen??) from the ta23 will fit onto the ta22 or be very close.right?
Every thing in front of the windscreen will either not fit or will need modification.

By everything, I think they are talking about panels..... which really doesnt affect you .. pretty sure that struts n steering would be fine.
