1G Cam Specs Wanted.

I am just trying to compare the 1G-GE, 1G-GZE and 1G-GTE cams.

I have cam heighs for them as per the Toyota Workshop manuals but was hoping to find there respective durations. Anyone got that info that is reliable or had the cams on a cam Doctor ???

1G-GE Cam height - 35.51mm - 35.61mm
1G-GTE Cam height - 35.36mm - 35.46mm
1G-GZE Cam height - 35.51mm - 35.61mm

In & Ex Cams have identical lobes.

I have had all of them cam doctored, I don't have the spec in front of me and it would take weeks of digging thru my paperwork after moving house to find it, but it went something like

Biggest duration [email protected]
Smallest Duration [email protected]"

I think from memory the NA cam has 201/[email protected] and the most lift, and the supercharged actually had the least duration and lift while the gen 3 turbo cam had the most duration. I have heard many stories about who has what, I used to use NA cams and I think they'd be as good as anything, but honestly, I think you'd be doing well to find 5hp in any of them.

Thanks for that mate, I wasn't expecting much of a difference but as I have the rocker covers off it at the moment if there had been 10 or more degrees duration available I would have chased a set down. It all helps afterall.
