Last time I enquired (approx 18 months ago), you could buy a brand new LSD centre for $400, why would you worry about a fucked second hand item?

Is yours a T or D series because I have a D-series and wanted to know if a T-series AE86 LSD diff centre will fit straint into mine without modifying the axles or diff because i want to set mine up so I can drive it on the street, take it to drag meets and drift meets whenever they are on then swap the tyres and drive it everyday but still be able to go on long trips.

As skiddy said, you will require T series axles from a TA22, RA23 or RA28 Celica (only these axles are correct) then you need to shorten the ends of them to suit the LSD centre (by 5mm each axle I believe, but dont quote me on it)

I had a look at the build plate and it is stamped "T 292"
So obviously it is running the T series diff. I would like to get my hands on a RA60 diff by the sounds of it and gear it up to a 3.9:1 as i aint a fan of the 4.1:1's.
The only thing is, are the axles, seals and bearings interchangable with one another?
My Celica doesn't need plastic to look good

The axles and housing are NOT interchangeable. SKF do a full listing of bearings and seals for both vehicles, and the centres are interchangeable.

So a RN25 hilux diff is ok for a RA28 as it is the correct width. Just some small mods to make it fit ?

    Thanks

Pretty much. Theres a few mm difference in the width, but some careful rim choices and brake mods at the front will see it clear!! Its just the weight that becomes the issue (unless of course your car becomes a trailer queen )
