No prob at all...
As long as the big pumps have their fuel supply gravity feed youl be sweet.
The 044 pumps (most efi pumps ) cant draw fuel properly or at all and must be fed by gravity
I have a Bosch 044 high pressure pump, and a low pressure lift pump that I want to mount vertically instead of horizontally.
Any problem with doing this?
Is the reliablility of the pumps comprimised at all?

You can actualy do it....Mount the pump higher than its supply but........ as a general rule you cant -- because it doesnt always work
FWIW I run a vl turbo EFI pump as a lift pump and have it mounted verticaly slightly above the it supply at the bottom of the tank..

Awesome cheers for that.
The way I've got things, everything will be under the tank, so the surge tank and pumps shouldn't de-prime..
Cheers again!
just made sure the inlet is at the bottom as the bosch pumps will cavitate hard if air gets inside them. the inlet is the M18x1.5 fitting on the back of the pump.
your actually better off mounting 044s on an angle or vertically as it decreases how noisey the pump is (still havn't figured out why)
cheers
