Mx83 speedo sender
Howdy happy people
just wondering if anyone can confirm that the MX83 speedo sender operates on 5V and not 12v, did a search but couldnt find anything.
Just hoping that i dont have to go grime surfing again and swap it over.

edit- its in a ra23 w58/1g running off a home made loom and a speeco spedo
I wired it up and couldnt get a pulse, so had a chat to my mate with a soarer and apparantly they run all 5v in the dash,so forth, which got me a bit worried.....

Have you tried removing it and turning it over by hand slowly to check you get a pulse out?
That would be where I'd start...

One pin is earth , one is +12v , the other is output. Make sure you have it earthed properly.
