cam pulley specs needed from various toyotas

im hoping to drive the M90 supercharger with toothed cam pulleys so im trying to find suitable pulleys to aquire the ratio i want.

what would be awesome is if people could count the teeth on any cam and/or crank pulleys they having laying around.

more then likely many of the belts will have the same teeth pattern and pitch but i can check that out once i know what pulleys have how many teeth

im aiming for something around 1.5:1

i have a set of 7m cam gears but i only have the sizes 24(crank), 46(oil pump shaft) and 48(cams). the best ratio i can get from this is just under 2:1

ive counted a couple pics from google and it looks like the 3sgte has 36 and the 4age has 38???

if i could get some various cam specs then i can take a belt with me to the wreckers and find something thats going to work.

4AG has 36.,. 10deg per tooth (and so must have 18 tooth crank)
the 1G is the same? as 4AG?

i no longer own a 1G to check but could be the same.


36 tooth would be awesome as 36/24 = 1.5:1

can you measure the overall diameter off the pulley as i should be able to determine a pitch ratio that way.....and check it against mine. hopefully the belts are compatable

xJZ-GTE Cams pulleys are 48 teeth,

Crank would have to be 24...

I get 101mm with my verniers, inner tooth to inner tooth, and 36 teeth

And 108mm at top surface of tooth.

any chance you could measure the tooth pitch of the belt?


best way is to measure 10 teeth from the start of tooth 1 to the start off tooth 11

the 7m cam belt measures 8mm this way

Am at work now with the pulley in front of me. An inexact measurement with a ruler per your instruction gives approximately 94mm. No verniers in hospitals.

1g is 46 teeth, same as a 3s.
109.5mm dia between teeth and 115.5mm on the teeth.
