    Default Aftermarket seats

    Hi all,

I'm looking into a set of after market seats for one of my cars...

I gather they will need to be ADR approved, but what does one need to look for?

Also does anyone know what needs to be done to get seats modplated in QLD?

    Thanks!

I hear that the just jap seats are ADR, and they are at the end of the price range that I'm looking at...the seats will need to be reclinables If anyone has links to cheap seats by all means let me know!

    Cheers
    Wilbo

I got my mod plated just by going through our local engineer who checked the custom rails and he approved them. I used a set of buddy club seats in mine but they were slightly expensive.

fwiw. my ADR'd seats in the RA40 did not have to be mod plated. merely sighted by the idiots who did the safety inspection.

fwiw2: cheap seats = ebay and autobarn.
