1G would be my choice. I've seen it done and it's a tight squeeze; methinks a 7M would be pushing it. Not to mention I'd never put a 7M in anything.

i reckon SR20DET would make sense,

in the toy family i;d go 1JZGTE, 1UZFE (with a view to forced induction down the track) depending on what is available and will fit.

too hard to get RWD bits, as much as it would make your car a dirty bastard i think the SR is a much better idea.

Im only new to Tojo's but am looking to do a conversion to a vehicle that has a similar (NOT SAME) set up to yours. The 3s requires other accessories after you purchase the motor. You need clutch and spigot, 2s bell (someone correct me if i'm wrong please), fork, flywheel, RWD box, Manifold and possibly dizzy. There are probably a fair few other things that I have not mentioned, so as they say budget for your build and double it! The 1g still is a bit of messing around with bits certain bits and pieces but being RWD to start with makes it a little easier. Mounts, driveshaft, piping and wiring are about it. If you can find a 3S RWD conversion with motor for a reasonable price that would be a possibility. Some of the conversion parts are apparantly getting hard to find.
I motion for an 8 day week..... I need an extra day off!
