Garrett external wastegates, are they good?

I'm looking at purchasing a 2nd hand 42mm Garrett external wastegate, and I'm just wondering what are people's opinions on them as they don't seem too common?

Would it be suitable for a 1JZGTE with a GT35r running around 20psi ?

probly the best things ever designed, they have been around for over 20yrs and while they dont look "BLING" they dont have any faults either, they were OEM parts on alot of diesel 12L+ engines so they are designed extremely robust but unfortunately they stopped producing them about a year ago.
