    heard good things, but only with 4 cylinder engines..

    Also keep in mind the person who will do your tuning will need to competant with the particular ECU in order to get the most out of it.

    yeah i realise this thats why link isnt an option, have emailed the adaptronics guys to see if they have someone down here to install and tune so will see how that goes, thanks everyone for your input much appreciated

    Adaptronic or microtech would be my choices if you are on a budget.

    Microtech is more commonly known by tuners though.

    yea i have a couple mates running microtech in skylines they seem to work fine just havnt heard of one in the v8, adaptronic seem to be switched on so will head that direction i think, and they have suggested two tuners with good reps

    Can you use a stock ECU on a 1UZ when you convert it to manual?

    well the adaptronic bloke said he could supply a piggy back ecu if i had the standard loom and ecu, have to look more into it
