    Default Technical Articles and Documents

The technical articles and documents that were on the old forum represented a valuable source of information. They would also answer a number of the queries asked by new members and users of the forums. Would it be possible to move them to the new forum.

I have searched to see if this question has been asked previously and try as I might cannot tell if you have already effected this transfer.

    Cheers Craig

Nah. There is some info here but it is mainly new stuff, or information that was in old forums posts.

    Craig,

thewhitzl is gradually moving al the Tech articles over to the new site. They will most likely end up in the tech FAQ section or just as a post in the Tech section. At the moment tho they are all still very much a ccesable in the old tech section ( Just use the menu from www.toymods.org.au )

Let me know if we seem to have missed anything ?

    Thanks Rod

Very pleased to hear that they are being shifted. I had no problem finding them but was noticing a number of posts that referred to matters that have been well addressed in the past.

The way it's working at the moment is that if you have an article you want to write, or a thread you want to turn into an article/FAQ - write it up as a new thread in the tech section, send me a PM to alert me about it, and i'll move it into the FAQ section and clean up/add to it as necessary.

As for the articles on the old website..... well im archiving those on my home PC to be re-written and reworked into a format that suits the lovely new content management system on this new website.

Eventually you will see a new "tab" section up the top named "TECH LIBRARY" which will be filled with toyota info beyond your wildest imagining
It'll be easily updatable, and there's even a function where someone can leave a comment on the article to add more info or highlight an error...

It's happening, unfortunately its happening slowly
