Check when the injectors are pulsing. It sounds to me like a wiring problem. Have you checked the wiring on the two problem injectors/cylinders.
Sounds like they are just staying on. Standard Loom?
I've put an ae101 4agze into my ke35, its running stock computer, sc14 and modified intercooler piping and intake.
I know its all wired up correctly but when i go to start it the 3rd and 4th cylinders fill up with fuel and dont ignite, till they are so full with fuel that the motor seizes.
I can get it to run on the 1st and 2nd cylinders only but the 3rd and 4th wont fire.
Ive just had my injectors cleaned and flow tested and they are ok, even switched them around and still the same thing happens.
Tested the coils, ignitor and leads on a runing gze motor and they were fine.
Also have tired 2 ecu's and the same thing happens on both.
im all out of ideas......can anyone help please?

what about sparks? have you tried taking out the hi ten wires and check to see if there's any on 3rd and 4th? so basically it doesnt run smooth even after cleaning it from fuel flooding? or does it?
I'm sure i checked the pulsing a couple of months ago when i was first tiring to start it. But i will double check it when i have the time. What about if i got the 3 injector wiring pugged into the 4th injector and so on?
And yes its running standard loom.
yeah i have checked for spark and its there. yeah it doesn't run smooth after cleaning the fuel out of the 3rd and 4th cylinder i can get it to run on the 1st and 2nd.Originally Posted by dencio1976
As suggested, check for spark on 3 and 4, and check the plugs in them too. It sounds as if they might not be firing.
Also how have you wired your injectors? The factory wiring diagram shows the trigger wires for injectors 3 and 4 join before running back to the ECU. If you have a short to earth on this wire then injectors 3 and 4 will stay permanently open. Which may flood it and give you the symptoms you're seeing.

I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.
Drift Volvo. Was fun. 2JZ next time.
Injector timing makes next to no difference, and you'll find that it probably wont be sequentail injection anyway, so 2 cylinder will fire together.Originally Posted by cuzzo
If it's filling with fuel to the point of hydraulicing, then it's not lack of spark,
as without spark it will just pump the gas out of the exhaust.
It must be filling the cylinders with fuel while sitting, so it is a wiring problem or an ECU problem, but with trying two ECU's it's gotta be wiring.
Remove the ECU completely, and make the fuel pump run by bridging out the relay or whatever and you will probably find it still does it.
Wiring fault.

could even be an injector problem. if you have a pressure gauge on your fuel regulator, you could try giving your injector a direct pulse. after a pulse input to one injector, measure the loss in pressure. then restart engine to get same pressure. then do it on the other injectors one by one. check to see if pressure loss on all injectors are same.
this is just to isolate before checking on the wirings.![]()
