thats pretty ridiculous. makes me feel a bit concerned about getting spring perches made.
lets hope you/someone can find somewhere a bit cheaper.

That price is outrageous. Keep trying, these really interest me and if the price does become right I would buy a pair. Mind you at this rate it might not fall into my price range...

Yea, I was thinking it would be maybe $100 - $200 more than a set of castor tops. That's what I am aiming for.
Not even I would pay the prices I was quoted.

Wat the heck that is rediculous. You have done all the design of it so they shouldn't charge that much. There will be some machine shop that will do them cheaper. I await the day they are made

Well, I still want to get these things off the ground.

Anyone know any decent machine shops that use CNC in Brisbane?

    Bit far to drive.....

I need it in Brisbane to complete the proto and test-typing stages, as I need quick turnaround and the ability to produce just a few to start.

Surely someone has got something milled before????

AE86 has 3 bolt strut tops and they aren't symmetrical IIRC (i.e. I don't think you can swap left and right tops without re drilling)

AE86 rears have separate spring/damper and are live axle, so no adjustment possible for these.
    Good. Fast. Cheap.

If you can supply the material and the cad designs (to enter into a water cutter) I MAY be able to get someone to do the work. There are a few if's, firstly I know they have a laser cutter but not so sure on a water cutter and secondly i'm not sure the guy still works there. PM to discuss or msn if you want ([email protected])
