Hilux Brake upgrade, BA rotors,billet hubs,R32 calipers (by 289hilux)

hi mate if i have got a set of s14 200sx sr20det brakes will the hub and caliper package off ebay fit up. Got the brakes given to me by a mate they came out of a 1997 200sx turbo that he ride off. so yeah hopefully you can give me good news and tell me that they fit with not too many dramas, thanks

To resurrect this, does anyone know whether the 98-2004 Hiluxes have the same hubs as the bearing part number in the Timken cattledog changes between the 88-97 and the 98-04.

Did you change your master cylinder and how do the brakes pul the ute up???
Been thinking of doing the same brake set up to my YN57

Hi. I did not change the booster or the master cylinder.

The Hilux is now fully engineered and passed the brake test,easily, required by Vic Roards.
I will be fitting a vacuum canister to help with braking at low revs and idle due to the big cam and heads.

The brake test is quiet involved requiring a 40,60,80 Kmh stop then 15 consecutive stops at 60 Kmh then a hot test at 80 and 100 Kmh.
I use Bendix GCT pads and slotted rotors. Some say you should not use this mix due to varnishing of the rotors. I have not had any issues.

I think a bigger booster and or master cylinder would help but it doesn't seen nessasary.

My brakes stop this.

Hey guys just wanting to show u my setup its the r33 gtst calipers with ba rotors that came with the billet hubs from the eBay dealer stated above and I managed to squeeze them under 15inch rims that I believe are either from a EB falcon or an AU but they clear with a few mm to play with. I was running 17inch territorie rims that clear until I got defected for non load rated tires
