Sounds like a busted fuel cap. Go to auto one and get replacement, if not that your lines may be knackered...that's not a good thing. BelRay do a good gearbox oil as far as I know, if you want some cheap let me know, the warehouse is next door.

P.S. What mods do you have?

if your leaking fuel, this is severly dangerous.

i suggest you get under the car quick smart and see where its leaking from (there are usually traces of where it has dripped down).

this isnt the sort of problem where we can help, it could be anything from a busted hose clamp not doing its job, a cracked fuel tank, a busted pump, busted line, etc. etc.

My SC spews fuel out from the filler point when I have a full tank also...
It is likely on mine a dodgy job when changing the filler neck to meet compliance...
Though I havent looked at it yet... too many other things to fix.
But try checking out the rubber seals around where the filler neck bolts in.
Just dont ;let passengers throw their ciggy butts out the window

Can't help with the oil cooler q.

For g/box oil... I've just filled with Penrite Limslip 90...
Smurf blood as a fellow AW11'er calls it a few of us SC owners are using it.
Comes in 2.5 litre bottles for around $24 a hit.
    I used a bout 1 and a half.

After draining the box. I removed the fill plug on the front side of the box. Then actually filled from the top, large bolt under the IC, until it started coming out the fill plug. Then you have enough gear oil.

SC oil you need to feel around on the back end of the SC to find the drain plug. You need small hands to get it! Then fill using a syringe and some hose into the SC dipstick hole. Either get the SC oil from Holden for their SC'd commos (bit dear). I think I used Caltex Syntrax gear oil but cant remember the details.

    Hope this helps

For the fuel, yeah, I'd be getting to a shop to see about it on 2nd thoughts, I don't think your insurance would cover it The tank on the AW11 is in the middle of the car, if you take off the passenger side wheel, and take off the plastic cover between the engine well and the rear 1/4 panel (the stone guard), and you can get easy access to the filler hose between the tank and the filler. Check the rubber hoses for cracks or deformations, but if it's spilling down the paint I'd guess at a dead cap straight away.

Yeah, it makes it MUCH easier to check and top up the SC oil if you don't have the ABV in the way. I recommend removing this ASAP, along with a bigger SC pulley and a bigger cooler. Cheap, effective mods. And I'd go for a JayCar fuel/air adjuster to fix the 'toyota safe tune'

just in addition to EldarO's warning id like to add one, my mate has just come out of daily changed compression bandages and into silicone ones, after having a fuel leak in the boot of his car ignite with him leaning into it. seriosly not a problem you want to do by halves or put off.

yeah i have a similar problem, when i fill my tank right up fuel can come out and dribble down the side of the car, on mine its the seal that is causeing this, cause the seal is always soaked in fuel all round, i have tried various seals and so far none seem to have really worked, it probably depends what filler neck they used when they converted it for aus compliance.

my mate had the same problem on his soarer, he took it to some guy and he siliconed it up, i have been meaning to have a look at my mates to see what was actually done, cause he was having the same problem, fuel leaking from around the cap seal

and no 4agze's did not come with oil coolers like the na

well if its wrecking the paint i suggest its not the pump or the tank as the tank is between the seats and the pump is an in tank. Sounds like the filler neck or the cap but get it sorted pronto like others have suggested

My MR2 has a steel cap, never leaks. Not sure where the cap came from tho. The supercharger dipstick is under the ABV (which you should remove ), if you look down the side you can see your crank pulley (which is too small, and needs to be bigger), and if you look to the left you can see your intercooler, which is also too small. If you need any help with these terrible issues, PM me

    RM.

P.S I'll just walk next door and check on the price for the oil...

*edit* 10 mins later: $8 per litre, 90w typoid gear oil. Suits LSDs and transaxles.( If you've got LSD) It's BelRay, some of the best around. Also 10w40 semi-synth engine oil (GENUINE semi-synth, penrite is actually an ultra-refined mineral), $35/4ltr.

i think i just solved my fuel leaking problem, i pulled the normal seal off the cap and put a big fat rubber oring around it instead, one that fits nicely on the inside, i have filled it up a couple of times and haven't noticed the normal trail of fuel down the side

only the Oz spec 4age model came with the oil/water cooler that i am aware of.

as mentioned above the Penrite Limslip 90 is my choice, the E51 holds 4.2 liters total refill.
