    Default Who's tried a suprastick??

    Anybody fitted one of these?

    http://www.latentsolutions.com/suprastickuv.html

If so feedback would be good.

And yes I did do a search and found only a couple of threads that mentioned it with one instance of very positive feedback.

That does look interesting, if not some potentially grand claims?

You can buy it directly off that website for $385 USD shipped.

    I'm very tempted.

A few high powered Soarers run them with after EFI ECUs here and in the UK - have a search on a few of the Soarer forums for more info/pinouts etc.

Yes. It can even learn the factory shift tables as you drive.

Two shift tables that can be either user programmed or learned from the factory ecu and a full manual mode that has some built in over rev protection that prevents you from down shifting to a too lower gear.

Santa can I please have one of these.

That's something I'm working on MAKING at the moment, at a much cheaper price.

But with a few little other things involved too...

I have parts at home, just doing coding, and also making sure it works with certain solenoids.

I need more information electrically on the way different Toyota boxes work though...

So would this one completely control the box? Another one i looked into didn't have control of downshifts(you needed to use the T bar for engine braking)

Another thing to note is this unit will not work with JZ series A340's as the valve body requires a PWM input rather than the discrete output produced by the supra stick.

a Few guys with Jz series Soarers running Supra sticks no probs....

Only thing is, Best to use an ABS sensor for speed as the stock speed sensor only sends 2-4 signals per second... Abs ones send about 20-24 which gives better functionality of the supra stick.
