    oops!
Ultra-thin needle nosed pliers could work.
otherwise 2 skewers or something similar...
depends how exactly your key fits the barrel
in my ma61 supra, you could probably use a phillips head screwdriver to get it out. on an AU falco... probably a locksmith

If its not twisted, put the tiniest bit of 5min super glue on the broken off piece. The rest is obvious, but be cautious. I probly wouldn do it if there is only a lil of key left in the barrel...
    meh...

a screwdriver probably wont work, you need something smaller, along the lines of coat-hanger wire but stronger. (hence my skewer suggestion)

superglue would also work, but I'd only do that if you were 100% sure you weren't going to glue the key to the barrel

is there any part of the key exposed at all? if so drill a hole through the exposed bit and use a piece of wire, thread it through then pull it out.

As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are

Depends if you got it cut by Mr. Minit - he seems to use keys made out of the same stuff he puts shoes together with...

nasty, ST162 ignition barrells are totally not easy to get into, my advice would be to get a long flat piece of metal, shove it in there and then try and lever and slide the piece of key out

none of the key is exposed and its only a bit of it and its real deep in, no room to move with it, nothin is gettin it out, so have taken apart the surrounding the barrel and morrow gonna try take barrewl out,

basically the barrell is attached to the steering column from the factory with a bunch of screws which heads snap off on purpose, theonly way to remove it is to drill those bolts out (at least thats what my manual said) and even then, we couldn't disassemble the barrell, i'd be trying alternative means (like the stuff suggested here) before you even TRY to get the barrell out

ive been told i will not be able to remove the barrel unless i can turn the car ova to ACC, as there is a lock pin in place that locks the barrel in, and i cannot turn the key ova, so might be leavin it to locksmith
