It fits, check my members rides thread. You need a front sump setup and a later model block with 3 mounting bosses will make the engine mounts easier to fabricate. Will probably need to fabricate a gearbox crossmember too.

Ok, so i don't know much, but i know these are toyota engines. I havent searched or anything(like i should've but you know).
Anyway, i was wondering if i can put one of these engines in my KE70, i'm not looking for high performance or that sort of thing, and the engine is pretty cheap, just wondering on what sort of work would go into it. Oh and i don't know a thing about 18rGU engines except they're out of celicas?

The 18R-G is a big and heavy engine for a 4 cylinder. They're also getting harder to find these days. If it was me I'd go for the 4A-GE, it's practically bolt-in with the right bits (from the AE71) and it's a great deal smaller.
