    yer its not the same car...thats for sure...had a little play with the boost tonight...

    its now at .8 bar and still pretty rich all through the range...

    its starting to scare me again...

    cant wait too see what it will be like at 1.8 bar

    I will be bumping up this thread in the near future as I have bought a ltx12s and will be installing soon.

    first question: what sort of o2 sensor can the microtech take? I have a wideband o2 and want to plug it into the microtech and datalog that way. Also, how is the datalogging? People found it useful?

    Only the LT12S can take wideband. The rest are narrow band only.

    Data logging has worked well for fault tracking in my case.

    Never used it to help tune though.

    awesome Looks like a picked the right one then.

    Do you know how many samples per second the logging is? ie. enough that it isn't going to have large intervals between record points.

    Thanks mate, will be labelling all my wolf wires on Saturday and hopefully get started on the install early next week.

    the troubles I was having with input trigger
    the fact that I would need new igniters and coils
    tech service and wiring diagrams availability
    the fact that every bastard has one and have no complaints

    NFI on the data sampling, but here is a pic.

    The period where I was flat chat was <10 seconds.

    ok, so what do the numbers on the y axis represent? ie. can you pinpoint positions? If you had air fuel, rpm, tps and load. Say at one point a/f is a bit rich and you want to lean it out, can you click on a section and it tells you what rpm and load point that is? I can't do any testing yet as you can't do much without the ecu hooked up

    It looks like it goes from 27 to 55 at full throttle which is 28 units on the x axis. So if x asix = samples then the worst it could be if that is 10 seconds is one sample per .35 second. So that is pretty good.

    Y axis is
    * RPM (multiple axis valvue by 100)
    * TPS in %
    * load in -kPa (and i presume +psi boost)
    * injector pulse in ms (divide axis value by 10)
    * water temp in degrees
    * air temp in degrees
    * AFR I'm not 100% sure, never really looked

    aah thanks Makes more sense now.

    Load: anyone else done logging with a forced induction motor? would like to see how it does boost. Possibly, uses 100 as 5v with whatever map sensor is in there ie. 3 bar map 100 = 29.4psi or 2 bar.

    Looks the goods though, I am excited

    re injectors: Does it matter which pin I use for the 12v?

    Same question regarding the coil packs?

    ok, how do I work out which one is +ve and -ve when the wires have already been disconnected from between ecu and igniter? Or does anyone know which one is which?

    In factory setup, the wire between the ignitor and the coil is the coils -ve.
    The other pin on the coil gets IGN +12v

    Another Question: for the 12v wire going to the injectors and the coils that is going to be ignition switched, I was thinking of putting it through another switch to use as an anti theft mechanism. See a problem with this? Any problem with pump fuel through if the injectors aren't opening? Would it build too much pressure or would it still be released as normal. Couldn't see any issues with the engine turning over and no fuel or spark happening.
