I believe it comes on only when it's low
Does the oil pressure light sender screwed into the side of the head on the gen 2 3sgte (ST185) only turn the dash light on when the oil pressure is low, or also when its too high?
I ask because I had an oil pressure gauge but its broken and I had to send it back to get it checked which will take a week and I dont want to drive my car without knowing whether my oil pressure is too high or too low as its a brand new engine that needs to be run in.
Thanks

A proper oil gauge might be better then the 'idiot light' on the dash
when that is on the pressure is way to low.
