I think there are a number of cars that will be on the money this weekend especially Andrew Howell as at the Qld titles on his 1st drive at the circuit he was only .05 behind Gumley. And lets not forget Allan McConnellhe is always quick.
Myself i hope it pisses down with rain all weekend then we will have an upset with the results.
I'm a bit biased as he's a long time member of our club (Wollongong Sporting Car Club) . Hopefully the weather holds out and its a great day of racing.

The Gould is in a different leauge to Gumley's SCV - Brand new technology NME V8 that revs to 12,500rpm, Brand new chassis based on FEA designs - versus a 1970's era F5000 chassis (admittedly has had a fair bit of aero development) with a 2.3L Kombi motor with a twin screw supercharger....

Either way it is going to be 1 of the best Australian titles held in years.

Jezza i am running some soft compound Kuhmo V70As same as Tony Sullens ran on his Targa winning WRX earlier this year

    Yeah Peter Gumley 1st
    Andrew Howell 2nd
    Allan McConnell 3rd
That car of Howells is absolute sex on wheels.
But for 350k it would want to be
I managed to pick up 3rd in class which was ok considering the 260z we were up against.
700 hp Rodeck aluminium block chev with awd what a weapon.
My last run was an allout attempt which paid off as i dropped almost 1 sec off my fastest time for the weekend. Still had traction issues but at least it finished in 1 peice.

Howell must of picked up his pace on the Sunday? I was out there on the Saturday and he seemed to be a bit off the pace (in the corners) compared to Peter & Allan.

For those interested in FSAE cars, the QUT team had their car competing (without the restrictor) and it was extremely fast.

Told you Gumley was on a mission....

    Congrats on your 3rd placing.

Does anyone have the official results? I can't find them on the MG club website.
