tighe have a grind that matches HKS ones, i know cause i had to have a set sent away and repaired.

i now have 2 sets, so one day i might sell the 264s, keep the 272s, i think

one set came with my HKS stroker motor, and the other set i got very cheap of a malaysian bloke as they were no good for his car, and just swapped him some parts, which all fell apart when i lost contact with him, dont know what they are actually worth.

I sold my spastic 304 duration cams for 1k on ebay just the other day. they were brand new.

The cheaper rods would be made in china.
The spool rods are made in USA.

I priced cams through Tighe cams the other day.

$1250 for a new set, they don't have any on the shelf, but they can make a set up.

If a few others were keen, could prob try get the price down a little.

What's the story with the strokes piston,any around? Quite interested in a set of rods either way. Are they to suit gen 3 crank?

Brad from spool has sets made for the klye stroker engine. they are 3mm longer than stock. You need a gen3 crank offset grinded to use them and custom undersized pistons (1mm).

sorry should have been more clear but i mean did the pistons ever get made, is there spare's and are the normal spool rods to suit gen 3 or gen2 crank?

the normal spool rods would be made for gen2

as far as the disaster that was the original group buy goes, i do not believe any pistons ever got made, but i might be wrong...

ok so possibly retarted question but if i remember correctly the pin was 1mm higher in the cp's so could 1mm be removed from the factory pistons without making them to weak.
from pictures i believe there is fly cuts also witch would be hassel. and could you get away with some hks 272 with decent lift cams?

pretty sure the offset grind gets the piston 1mm further up at TDC. Then the 3mm longer rod should send the piston 4mm further up. So the custom cp's would have a 4mm higher pin.
