Hey guys, sorry for my lack of updates, its not a matter of avoiding it, just time, been very busy of late. At this stage pistons are made, I'm just waiting on rods which should be anytime now, so hang in there. I'll get the bearings after I have the rods just to be sure everything is right, will keep you updated.

On another note, I need a stock 1G flexplate urgently, do you have one andrew?? Or anyone else have one they can express freight me?? Mine was bent from a mishap pulling the box out. On a positive note, I should be racing at the jamboree and also should be out testing in 4-5 weeks, fingers crossed on a 9.2@143-144mph

Rods will finally be here this week(apparrently) so can everyone who has paid a deposit please send me a pm so I can get back to you all individually about what you need and what you want me to arrange, IE some people haven't sent me cranks, some people don't want cranks, all people want bearings I presume, main girdles, main studs, main cap machining etc etc etc.

So Pm me with exactly what you want, I'll work out the pricing, and get all this sorted for you asap, if anyones situation has changed, then also pm me so I can advertise yoru stuff or see what we can work out.

    Regards..........................Kyle

The HKS engine has a 81mm stroke, being 6mm more than standard. As stroke is the combined up and down, the piston technically moves 3mm further up the bore. So my stroker kit, the rods are 3mm longer than standard, and the crank has 2mm more stroker(1mm higher out the bore), so compared to the HKS with 3mm to the 6BOOST stroker having 4mm, if you put the pistons from my kit in your HKS engine, they will sit 1mm further down the bore. Not the best, but really, you can deck the block that much with no problems, the belt can easily take up that slack, but the real problem you'll run into is comp. With that piston you'll have 10:1 odd as a bigger engine needs more cc's to have the same comp.

Bearing sizes and rod widths are the same, bore diameter the same, I guess the decision is yours, however I guess it will depend what the pistons in it are like, mine were cactus, yours might be fine.

but if you use the HKS head? i didnt think they touched the combustion chamber from what you said previously, but they must of? they didnt run a motor with that much compression did they?
    cheers, andrew

in better news, HKS motor will be in my possession soon.

The HKS pistons have a bigger dish, a far bigger dish, bigger capacity engines need a bigger clearance volume to keep the same compression. I designed this kit with 9.2:1 compression, which will work with pump 98 up to 18-22psi and make over 300rwkw, which is what most people want out of this, a quick street setup and as fast a spool as possible. I'd estimate that with everything else the same, this stroker with higher comp would make full boost 500-700rpm sooner than a stocker, with a 3076 on full boost by 3400-3500rpm and 300rwkw on 20psi. Imagine that with a 8500rpm rev limit..... 5000rpm of power..... Would be a sick skid machine)

Rods are all hear guys, will contact you in the next day or so, just finalising price on pistons and trying to find the funds to cover the other 3 sets of pistons and rods people didn't end up paying me for.
