    Default sump baffling

rather than just welding plates in a sump any old way, does anyone have pics or know the best placement and angles for putting baffles in a sump, which work the best?
    cheers steve,

ed, under hard braking and left hand corners oil pressure seems too drop away, hard right hand corners doesnt move at all, oil pick up is 5mm off the bottom of the sump, so all is good there, and yes there is enough oil in it, the sump has been modified, which is probably not a good thing by the previouse owner it looks as if the bowl has been moved forward too clear the crossmember rather than hitting with a hammer to make it fit, you pretty much cant tell its been modified till you look inside it.

blake, there are no baffles in the sump at all, if you talking about the plate that bolts between the sump and the block then yes the standard one is still there.

Linden baffled mine for the supra 7M. In essence it's a chamber around the pickup with a flap on a hinge that lets oil in but not out (plus about an extra litre of oil capacity)
