Default High flowed Injectors? Stock 20V Turbo??

    Hey people

    I have 2 questions

    1:
Has anyone experianced a STOCK 20v 4AGE turbo? I am in the process of building one and have herd nothing about them apart from SAM Q's High compression Turbo theory.
    Stats:
    Stock 20v 4AGE RWD
    EMS stinger ECU
    T25G turbo

What are the problems i will incounter? and how to fix them? (i.e. detonation, ect)

    2:
    High flowed injectors???
    who does this?
and what sort of capacity should i be looking at for the above application?

I was thinking about 440cc, but can i get the stock injectors to that? or will i have to look for replacement injectors?

I really don't know to much about what i'm asking so try and teach me if you can, and any help would be greatly appreciated

High flowed cost about $60/70 each
    2J cost about $100 each

but.. 2J ones are actually made to flow more normally..

as opposed to fiddled with (and spray pattern affected?)
aaaaand, since you'd be wanting at least 50% more power for the effort of turboing...
50% more stable flow from "flowed" injectors?

    Go for some other injectors.

    440's from a 2JZGTE, 3SGTE SW20, or GT4 will support up towards 270hp.

I did one using std 20V parts apart from pistons, all the rest was 20V stuff.

Your with the higher comp will just need less boost and timing.

Higer comp gives you better spool time,
I went from 7.8:1 up to 8.9:1 and gained full boost 1000rpm earlier.

With std compression you will get even better spool meaning you can run a larger turbo, and a larger turbo at the same boost will create more power and less stress.

It will be all fine as long as the tune is good, right mixture and timinmg with no detonation and it will last forever.

Yeah i think 2J injectors might be the go, i think a mate of mine might even have some blitz 650cc for a 3sgte gathering dust, migh toffer him a slab hehe.

Would the T25G max out to early on a high comp motor? i don't want to be changing gears at 4K in fear of detonation

t25g will be too small id swing for a t28 off an s14 or later.

dont bother with the stinger as it cant do "throttle over map" tuning so you WILL be forever chasing your tail (see if you can pick up a cheap microwreck LTX8) .

and as mentioned 3s or 2j injectors.

leave it with high comp and it will be fine if the tune is right.

    cheers

I just got some spanking new 540cc injectors

Now i have NFI about injectors so can someone tell me the difference between Lo and Hi impedance?
And can you go to big with injectors?

yes you can go too big but it depends on the ecu, lowend ecu's dont control inj as well as the high end ecus.
those injectors should be sweet provided there not single shot (the twinport ones have better spray pattern for toyotas with injectors sooo close to the valves)

imp is the current draw needed to open the injector.

    cheers

the impedance is actually.. the electrical impedance..

but you can tell high Z or low Z by measuring the resistance.
high is like 12-14ohms..ish.. low is more like 2ohms or so...

    even megasquirt has alphaN-MAP transitioning..
