That's almost perfect! By the time we leave Cranbourne and anywhere near the Prom should mean we miss the higher temp recorded in the city area... i'm really looking forward to this now!

I'm still keen, but my alternator has packed it in now.

Only price i've got for a new one through Bursons is $375.. i guess the other alternative is a wrecking yard special.

Anyone know of cheap places to get new 85Amp EA falcon alternators?

I'll see if I can get it sorted.

Hmm... the other question is do I take the celica. Tough call considering the other option is the work car with free fuel, air conditioning, leather interior, cruise control, oh, and a working alternator....

After mistaking the weekend of Simon's birthday, I don't wanna bail on ANOTHER event!

Timbo, be a man and take the celica, you know you want to.Suffer in your jocks like the rest of us without aircon. Anyway what's wrong with all windows down in a celica? - absolutely nothing!!!

...just grab one from Centre Road wreckers for $30 and slam it in!

You'd have to blow 10 of those before you'd be infront with a new one.

We'll all be in the same boat Timbo...be a man as Crazy said!

    Alternator sorted.

Was a dodgy connection. Have to have a lot of those before I'd be infront of a second hand one from the wreckers.

Anyways... the western side of Melbs sucks for good wreckers Anyone know of any pick-a-parts over here?

Can't think of anything else keeping the Celica off the road, so should be good to go. Won't be suprised if problems pop up along the way

Would be nice to spend the day getting the 'lux ready for rego, but alas, a day at the beach is a worthy substitute

I have been stressing about this and rushing to get a heat sheild fitted, as the extractors are real close to my su`s and it tends to vaporise the fuel and miss really bad but i saw the forecast today and its going to be about 25 or so they think!!! So ditched the idea of wasting my time making a heat sheild as it wont be that hot and im not going to be running su`s for much longer. Now all i need to do is wash, fill her up and a quick check over and im done.
webers4x48 and i will see everone at bunnings bright and early.

I can think of what you couldn't do with it... and that's come on a Celica cruise..

Where do you work and where can I get a job that pays $1000 for a weekends work?

Timbo, go and work OT then if you pay me the extra grand I'll design a custom made cruise for you!!! We can always go back to the Prom again for those that can't make it this time.
