I'm still keen, but my alternator has packed it in now.

Only price i've got for a new one through Bursons is $375.. i guess the other alternative is a wrecking yard special.

Anyone know of cheap places to get new 85Amp EA falcon alternators?

I'll see if I can get it sorted.

Hmm... the other question is do I take the celica. Tough call considering the other option is the work car with free fuel, air conditioning, leather interior, cruise control, oh, and a working alternator....

Alternator sorted.

Was a dodgy connection. Have to have a lot of those before I'd be infront of a second hand one from the wreckers.

Anyways... the western side of Melbs sucks for good wreckers Anyone know of any pick-a-parts over here?

Can't think of anything else keeping the Celica off the road, so should be good to go. Won't be suprised if problems pop up along the way

Would be nice to spend the day getting the 'lux ready for rego, but alas, a day at the beach is a worthy substitute

Talk about hot weekends, have you seen the forecast for Sunday? Melb.33 which means it'll be around 28 down at the Prom. Should be a top day for cruising and swimming for those that way inclined.

I have been stressing about this and rushing to get a heat sheild fitted, as the extractors are real close to my su`s and it tends to vaporise the fuel and miss really bad but i saw the forecast today and its going to be about 25 or so they think!!! So ditched the idea of wasting my time making a heat sheild as it wont be that hot and im not going to be running su`s for much longer. Now all i need to do is wash, fill her up and a quick check over and im done.
