On a quick count it is 5 times you have ignored the rules, and the Mods requests to change. From posting non-toyotas, posting for other people, Posting EOI and Advertising in Sig. on several occasions you were asked in the thread to change the wording which was ignored.

Mate seriously it gets to the point of why bother PM'ing you when you either winge about it or ignore the request completely, and keep on posting against the rules.

As has been clearly stated before, Toymods does not condone illegal activities. Winge all you want but the video is clearly a public road, and unroadworthy car being driven on it. The photos look to be a public road.

Chances are the thread will be reinstated in the future after cleaning, but for crying out loud think of what you are posting before you post it. Don't bend the rules to suit yourself and don't have a cry when a thread that is against the rules is deleted.

    Cheers

You were PM'ed and you were told in the thread, on nearly all occations, but these you did not even acknoledge a response.

Generally i do PM people for a single misdemeaner, they apologise and make the changes. However the rules do not state that the mods will warn prior to deleting threads, if it has been deleted then ask yourself why it has been deleted, if you don't know why read the rules. Sure you can PM a Mod, or start an new thread or whatever rings your bell, but if it was deleted, it was deleted because it is against the rules of the club.

Yes, a PM to the thread creator is usually done (and has been done, and ignored) for the first offence. beyond that there is nothing in the rules that says that we need to. Wouldn't you think that a Club member would know better than to post material that is against the Rules of the Forum?

This is certainly a valid option, however with the material posted the Moderator made the call to remove it from public view all together a) to protect you as a club member from any possible recourse, and b) to keep the forums clean from anything against the Rules.

But seriously, the board has put alot of time and effort in to creating the rules and moderating the Forums, you just come along and ignore it.

Can't you put some thought into the rules and think before posting up anything like this? You have started a new thread, so bringing the back the old one is not required.

My suggestion would be for you to spend some time familiarising yourself with the Forum Rules and FAQ. As a member representing the Club to the public, I expect at the very least that the most basic rules are followed. It is quite clear in the rules what happens to those who do not follow them.

At the end of the day you are young and out there doing your thing, We've all been there at some stage. but please concider what it is you are posting, everyone knows the general publics views on Car enthusists, Would you walk into your local Police station and show the boys there thoses photos and video? Posting them on the forum could be the exactly the same thing.

    Cheers

It was removed because of evidence of illegal activity - you know this, it has been clearly spelt out to you. You knew this before you posted it up regardless of what assertions you may be making to the contrary.

As an isolated incident, yes, a Mod would probably request the owner of the thread to take corrective action. In the case of a repeat offender, special consideration is unlikely to be given.

Unlikely, because the evidence of illegal activity remains and the owner can't rectify the problem because the thread is locked.
In the unlikely event that the Mod has time to clean it up, they may choose this course of action.

This course of action was chosen because of your previous complete lack of respect for feedback.
In this case, oldcorollas is one form of feedback that you are choosing to ignore. Feedback doesn't have to come from a Mod - if other club or forum members give you feedback, it's generally in your interest to follow it rather than completely ignore it, or to argue against it.

No. In the interest of transparency (IE so you know what we're thinking) reinstating your thread would make you think that you are in a position to request and get special consideration - you are not in such a position and you need to seriously consider your attitude towards the club and these forums. As stated to you previously, you have a responsibility towards the club and the forum, a responsibility that you're clearly not understanding, or for whatever reason are choosing to ignore.

Please go away for some time, have a think about what people are saying to you and what feedback you are getting - if you need to, give some of us a call to help you understand better but be under no illusion that what you're posting is appropriate. If you come to the conclusion that we are wrong and you are right you need to seriously consider if this club and these forums are appropriate for you.

Keep in mind we were all 19 (or 21) once and we all thought we knew everything at some stage of our lives.
