Compared to the photos i have of mid sumps, it does look a little further back.
The measurement of the distance from the edge of the steel "bowl" to the back of the sump (where it meets the bellhousing) is approx 13cm on the mid sump.
as in title??
thats what i bought it as, but cant find any pics for comparison

looks like ive got me a rear sump then
that 'mid' sump in your pic has a similar rear position, but extends much further forwards...
