apologies here... USA 91/92 octane is pretty much it. Also vehicle emissions.....
By all means building what would be an "off-road" engine here in the states.... Very simple... begin with the 20V block... the OEM crank is fine to 9k... over 10 look for a Formula Atlantic crank. The TRD Bible has ALL the specs in it to build their N2 engine. It is written in Japanese AND English with all the porting info listed. Once the head is done... I'd measure the combustion chambers and do some calculating on compression ratios. Find a GREAT engine management system, there are a few, the more capable the system, the more extreme you can run compression, cam, and ignition timing, You may want to lighten the crank some, a quality machinist can lighten the crank without hurting the integrity of it. The OEM later style oil pump(90-95) will work to 9k, again... over 10 and you may want to look toward Formula Atlantic dry sump stuff.
Information is POWER... learn the facts!!
