    I should be there, I wonder what difference extractors + 2 1/4" exhaust make on a 4age!

i just got a phone call from the dyno, aparently some newcastle corlla club or some forum is turning up, is the newcastle cruising thing that was talked about?thats not cool. i only organised for ae82ownersclub and twincam, and toymods. i started asking sydneyrollaclub but my post got deleted so i didn't continue with it. i hope that tomorrow goes well. some people may not get a run, sorry. and the dyno is open at 10am, not 8.30.

Would be helpful if the info for this day was more consistent.
Start time keeps changing and uncertainty if people will even get a run.

You have said the more people the better in you previous post, but now you are complaining.

This has to be one of the worst arranged dyno days.

    LAST OFFICAL POST

Hey guys! Last post before the big day – tomorrow!
There has been a bit of a mix-up, someone has gotten the ‘wrong end of the stick’: this day was to be a day mainly for Corolla’s – for TwinCam.org, AE82 Owners Club.com and ToyMods, I did say friends with other cars could attend, but somehow word got out to Newcastle Cruises.com that this was an Open Day. Let me stress that this day was by invite only and was organized for the specified forums ONLY in arrangement with the owner of Hunter All-Wheel Drive Dyno who is a long-time friend.
This was supposed to be a fun day for Corolla’s, and we will endeavor to keep it that way! So here is the low-down for tomorrow:
    1. Those meeting at P6 – 7.15am, leaving 7.30 promptly
    2. Those meeting Thornleigh – 8.15am, leaving no later than 8.30am
    3. We will then be heading up the Old Pacific Highway
    4. Arrival at Hunter Dyno about 11-11.30am

    Guidelines for the day:
    1. All participants interested in using the Dyno must sign in on arrival, no later than 11.30am. IF YOU DO NOT SIGN UP BEFORE 11.30 YOU WILL NOT GET A RUN!!!
    2. The Dyno has been set up for front or rear wheel drives only (for this day)!! Therefore no All-Wheel Drives will be permitted on this day.
    3. There are limited run places due to time restrictions, as we don’t want to take up the entire day for the kind people at Hunter Dyno!!!

PLEASE NOTE: PLEASE DON’T BLAME HUNTER DYNO FOR THE CONFUSION/ ORGANISATION FOR THE DAY AS THERE WERE A NUMBER OF MISUNDERSTANDINGS NONE OF WHICH ATTRIBUTED TO THEM! THEY HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT HELPFUL AND GENROUS WITH THERE TIME!!

I’m sorry for the fuck up guys! Just trying to get numbers by allowing friends of Corolla owners to join in, didn’t mean to confuse people into thinking it was an Open Day! My bad!!!

NOTE: There will be an actual Open Day at Hunter All-Wheel Dyno on the 9th DECEMBER 2007.

Unhappy Re: Dyno Day / Cruise 28th Oct

Willow if you are going to arrange these kind of days in the future you should be a lot more specific about what kind of day it is and who can run.

If you had advertised this as a Corolla day from the start, you would not have had these hassles.

As it is I was lucky to get a run even thought I turned up fairly early. Some friends that I turned up with hoping to get a run just turned around and left, they had better things to do.

I had always said I was turning up with a few non-Toyotas. If this was going to be an issue you really should have said so and I would have stayed in bed. I feel like I have wasted peoples time

well i was 1st to arrive at the dyno day this morning after repeated questions about my car being able to run on the dyno and was just about turned around and sent on my way as hunter dyno was under the impression that it was corolla ONLY ... but anyway there were only 2 corollas there until nearly 11am so everyone that came from Newcastle off toymods bar 2 got on the dyno before the corolla crew turned up from syd i made it on the dyno 2nd and put out
120rwkw im happy with that from a prity stock 1ggte running 12psi

i do think next time there needs to be more communication between everyone and strict rules on who is invited to save problems like todays confusion

ps alot of people where concerned about the low power figers they where getting as most people where down on average 15kw
