The 4A ones are apparently a lot cheaper.
THe last flywheel bolt set i bought was ARP for the 4A and it was only $44.
Check with Outlaw, they commonly have those in stock.
lol....did you ask about the 4a ones ....

i did 3SFE, reused the bolts, no sealant/thread lock (holes go through like 1JZ/2JZ)
motors survived revlimit like a motherfucker and nothing came of it.
thats what ya get for abeing a dodgy mofo i guess though? i dont see why you cant re-use them? they dont heat up and set like head bolts, and you dont have to retorque them after 1000k's, id reuse them for sure.
Elmo.
yeah, but with that amount of load and shear placed on the bolts, i wouldnt chance it. Why risk it for $40 ?

cause its not just $40, its a fuckaround getting the bolts etc.
fair enough for thread lock, but fuck it for the bolts, they're not one-time use!?
Elmo.
correct, i had enough money on me to pay for them, had i been able to locate them i would have purchased them, even if i had to pay up to $80! i simply couldnt track any down.Originally Posted by EldarO

However, this was beside the point because once again, they didnt have anything in stock and would have had to order them in.

That reminds me, i have to get Outlaw to order me another set of the 4AG bolts. Maybe 2, i like my legs so replacing them every couple of years on the 9000rpm screamer is probably prudent.
