Default Where should I put the sensor for my new temp guage?

    Hi all,

Ive just bought a new temp sencor as i think the stocko one is sus... Ive just been looking around the engine bay for a place to put the senor.. There is a plug in the bottom tank in the radiator which looks like it might be a good spot.. I cant find where the stocko sencor is either (22re).. What are people oppinions on the best place for it?

    Thanks,

    Chris.

Somewhere near the top Rad hose or even in the top rad hose, if you put it in the bottom hose it will only be sensing the cold coolant

Stock is in that bit under the radiator return hose. It is the one with the single wire if you are talking about the one that goes to the dash. Other ones are for the computer. Best bet is to either use old sensor hole and either tap it to fit or get an adaptor. Otherwise use stock sensor.
