Hilux Surf, 3rd Gen Turbo D intercooler

Anyone retro fitted a factory turbo diesel intercooler to a none intercooled Hilux??

Is it just a case of swapping the charge pipe for the intercooler (and adding the right vent etc) or is there more to it? (heater matrix pipes etc etc)

Not sure about the surf in particular, but for lots of the turbo diesel cars, you only change the piping to add in the intercooler, then maybe adjust the 'richness' screw on the fuel pump.

I love diesel.
