that may indeed be closeish to the real reason... from what i can tell, he was trying to sell the car for a while but it didn't go, so they did that to it, and figure it is more likely to sell that way!

lol, i just saw this! it took my brother 3 days to make the exhaust manifolds for my 1uz single turbo and he's a very accomplished welder, let alone 3 days for the whole thing.
also they say it has a 3" exhaust which is interesting on a gt47. guess its running a fuckn low a/r ex housing as my gt42 with the 1.06 housing has a 3 1/2 inch exit???

Yep, still here, saw it out the front of Nova as I drove past on the way home today from Gardo (I live about 2 minutes away from Nova). It's kinda hard to miss that bellmouth sticking out the front.
