hook it to the tach output from the ignitor that's in the body loom plug of the engine loom. Black wire.
Hey all i have a greddy e01 boost controller that im trying to wire in and it looks for rpm from the ecu, which is the correct output from the ecu to make this work, i hooked it in with the tacho but no luck yet. Im thinking it may need a different signal.
does the signal come from IGF on the ecu?

is there only one black wire in that plug? i have the pdf files you gave me before but could see anything on there. i think i have tried that one already, my tacho works with the conversion details you also supplied so im starting to wonder if its the wrong signal type.

ok, if the wire you're using for the tach converter isn't working, on either the input or output side, then try the pin labelled "I" in the T10 ECU diagram from the following pic:

Hey JP just wanted to say thanks again i tried the terminal you have suggested and i now have rpm on the boost controller which is great as i can now set rpm verses boost right through the whole rev range, cheers
