    Default wiring

hey guys, its getting time to take my car to get the ecu fitted and tuned. I'm currently doing the last fiddly things on my ke30. By the way its got a sr20de+t in it. Since if tiding uo all the little things i'd like to know what wires will be required in the engine bay from the standard loom. I understand lights and blinckers and ignition(oh yeah i wont be just chopping wires, there will be a wiring diagram and my old man is a mechanic). Will most the loom be used of the sr20 rather then corolla loom. If thats the case im just gonna keep what is essential from the ke loom and hide the rest.

any help would be great cheers

    HI SHY77
your asking a nissan question to a bunch of TOYOTA ppl. theres not that much to remove just all the old ignition stuff and and temp wireing an the new massage will be sent from your new ECU via you new loom.

There's a member on here with all the skills to help put in your ecu, sort all your wireing needs and if you are not to far from the newcastle area he will come to you. Dont know his on line name but it i can give you his moby and more details via pm.
He is a top dude and only to happy to help members.

    Cheers case

The ke loom will pretty much control body electrics such as lights n horns etc. the only wires you need to adapt to the engine would be the starter, charge light, oil light, reverse lights and temp gauge. everything else you can tidy up by cutting out at the junction plugs in each kick panel alternatively you can use the redundant ignition feeds etc. to power your ecu

Youll also need to hook up the alternator. Whether you keep the ke wires for that or run new ones is no big issue though
