Hmm thanks takai. That means new manifold which is another thing i dont really wanna do. Might stick with the 20v quads and see how they go.
Thanks for all your help people
Heh, it wasnt quite John.
But it was a Sharpe who clinched Pole and a race win. Pics up soon from the day.
Back on topic, boltpattern for the Silvertop quads isnt anything like the EFI hardware ones. They are DCOE pattern.

The only car that seems to have any serious load issues with the AZ6 is the S15. The S15 is the heaviest of the vehicles that use the AZ6 and the SR20DET puts down the most torque of all those same vehicles.
What does all that mean??? Your AE86 is about 300 kilos(minimum) lighter than an S15, the n/a 3SGE has a MUCH lower torque peak than and SR20DET.
and it is torque load... not hp that destroys most gearboxes.....
You should have NO problems using the AZ6 with just about any 3SGE.....

its not an AE86, its a KE70.
same chassis and similar weights they may be, but use the correct terminology, so you dont confuse people.
Elmo.
you mean besides the fact its about 16hp more powerful and pisses off the crappy AFM to go MAP sensor?Originally Posted by AEhachiroku

Talk to RA45Celica. He does a nice manifold and quad throttle kit for the 3SGE. The results speak for themselves - 194 rwkW from an NA 2 litre.
is he using gen2 or 3 motors?Originally Posted by gianttomato

The ke70 is a light car, you do not need a W series box. a 3sge with a six speed behind it will be all the car will ever need for circuit. It is a short wheelbase so it is never going to be good at high speed. Keep it light and with an atmo engine that you can keep in the powerband and you will always do well even on your bad days!Originally Posted by AEhachiroku

Also I have priced up a few things at work and i will be going turbo as i wont be able to push the power output i want on my budget.
Thanks for all your help
