So an email has to be sent, posting here isn't enough, or is it? Best make it clear just in case people post here and think that is enough and then get turned away on the day because they didn't make the list and then they miss out on the wet t-shirt comp etc.

An email to confirm your attendance would be nice just to make sure everybody is on the same page.

However i will also be contacting anybody who posted in this thread (as well as those i get emails from).

Sorry if its all a bit hodge podge at the moment still trying to get everything sorted out.

The Marques in the Park car show is a planned event also and due to over 500 cars turning up they cant just invite everyone. This Canberra event is planned from last year and we have 20 spots for CCG, 5 for MR2 10 for Corolla etc.so we cant just have everyone turn up at the gate to show their cars. Jeremy Marsh has been running this event by himself for Phil and I and has a list of attendees that have been invited after our initial call went out to all CCG members a few months ago.

If you want to join in, email Jeremy and he should be able to slot you in at this stage.

I'm assuming that I should contact the event organiser to double check that there is enough room for the Supra Club as well, or have we been incuded into these calculations?

Could you please confirm? At this stage I have 9 owners that are interested.

Yes we have already confirmed with the Event organizer to have space for 50 Cars.

That includes a section for the Supra Club, MR2 Club, Rolla Club and the CCG.

Did the CCG crew meet at the Futsal Stadium and do the cruise to the park last year or did you guys just rock up to the park and park?

We did the meet up at the Futsal carpark then ran in the cruise to the park it went rather well actually.

The plan is to do the same again this year.
