Default CT12A rear turbo Y pipe removal

Ok so I have my dumps ready to go on and the exhaust off the cressy and also 7 of the 8 bolts holding the Y pipe onto the turbo's. How the hell do I get the one off the rear facing turbo that is on the bottom on the engine block side?????? I have done this before in my MA61 with 1J but can't remember what I did to get it it off! I can't even get my spanner onto it. I REALLY don't want to take the turbo's off. Can someone tell me how to get it off with everything in situ? I'm NEARLY in tears
    Cheers
    Rich

you have to take the turbos off to remove it because factory there all studs.
you could try winding the studs out but good luck with that.
    cheers

ps i hope the pipes are meant for a cressy as most of the off the shelf ones dont fit.

yeah that one is a prick, i think i used a spanner coming up from under neath and turned it oneside of the nut at a time. then did the same for the stud.

definitely one of the most PITA bolts i've ever come across

oh and when you have the studs out, clean up the threads witha tap and die set, makes putting them 10x easyier from memory it was a 8mm with a thread pitch of 125, but i may be wrong

Are all the Y pipes the same/ MY JZX81 pipe seems to be angled back very severely, more so than my JZA70 supra one was. This is just probably my memory playing tricks on me though as the other one seemed so easy to remove, again that's probably my memory playing tricks on me as well since it was about 5 years ago.
