    Default fuel lines

    hey guys,
also i have one more question, would you recommend getting the inlet and outlet fittings on the fuel tank changed to roughly the same size as the fuel lines or do you think that they will be ok. I know this is a similar question as the one below however the fuel tank fittings are alot smaller then the fittings on the motor.

    All help greatly appreciated.

i have had 3/8 bundy fuel lines made up for my ke30 sr20de+t.

My question is, because the fuel lines are 3/8, will it make a difference when the i attached the fuel lines to the fuel rail, which has a small inlet size to my fuel lines will that have a detremental affect. what i wuss im trying to say is it bad for the fuel lines to go from larger to small. Its not a big difference in size but it is a difference none the less.

    cheers
    steve

doesnt matter at all, dont worry about it.

just make sure you have the correct size adapter, ie dont stick 6mm hose on an 8mm barb like i did

that depends if you need the full flow of 8mm, or if the 6mm restriction is ok.

it depends on your fuel pump. you could test it, by putting it together with the rail and fuel reg.. adding in a pressure gauge, and running... highest demand for the return will be when the injectors are not working at all, and the full pump flow goes back to tank.
    same for fuel supply line..

to maximise fuel flow, you can apply vacuum to the fuel reg, or even run without one.
