You could just leave the injectors and fuel rail in there..
Option A is this
Option B is to fill the holes with a solvent stable resin and then smooth out with wet 'n' dry.
Any advice is welcome especially better ideas that don't involve fuel injection
Cheers

Strange things are afoot at the circle K
weld over them and use a die grinder to sooth the inner surface ?
Unfortunatly I don't have any of the EFI gear (bought a half finished carbie project.)
Welding seems like an option. Has anyone had experience with resin though?
Cheers

Those plugs arnt bad if its not turbo/sc. Good for getting it running anyway. Other option is to use JBWeld.

Just stick some tape over the inside and drop some JB weld in the injector ports and you should be fine.

I've used 2 part epoxy before, works great.
Another method I've witnessed is using Allen headed bolts screwed into the holes after the appropriate sized tap has been run through, use a bit of goo to make sure it doesn't leak when you tighten them.

The spanner in my avatar is actually a 16mm, that's why it's still new
Or a welsh plug tapped into the holes will do the trick aswell.
N/A 3SGE KE70 on its way
yeah id tap a bolt into it and put a bit of sealent. that way its not likely to leak or come out. also a little less perminant if you need the holes later on
I had a suitable sized plug pressed in. Can be reefed out with pliers later if necessary.Originally Posted by AEhachiroku

why not use expansion/freeze plugs? they make them in all sorts of sizes and they can be removed later if necessary.. i did this a while back and it worked great!

if you have access to a lathe and dry ice, a freeze plug is a great idea as long as you have a steady hand for tolerence![]()
Its not unheard of, hence my caveat.Originally Posted by wraith

Takai...
Mate - don't f*ck around with welding and that shit...
Allen Key Bolts.
1/2 metric thread - fits
Button heads.
screw a nut onto the bolt - angle grind or hacksaw to size,
Cut/File head down to size.
Clean up.
Took me about an hour and half without an angle grinder.
Just finished them last night - they fit perfect into the recess for the injectors, I just used some aviation gasket goo on the thread.
Rather than "permanently" blocking the injectors...
BTW - what sort of carbies you running (I've got 42dcoe's - 33m chokes)
